SOSIALISASI BAWASLU KE SMAN 1 PONGGOK PADAHARI JUMAT TANGGAL 7 NOVEMBER 2023
Hari ini, tim sosialisasi Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) mengunjungi SMAN 1 Ponggok untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya partisipasi pemilih dalam pemilu 2024. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa tentang hak dan kewajiban mereka sebagai warga negara dalam menentukan pemimpin bangsa.
Tim sosialisasi Bawaslu disambut oleh Kepala Sekolah SMAN 1 Ponggok. Acara dimulai dengan sambutan dari Kepala Sekolah, yang menyampaikan apresiasi dan dukungan atas kegiatan sosialisasi Bawaslu. Beliau juga mengajak siswa untuk aktif bertanya dan berdiskusi selama acara berlangsung.
Selanjutnya koordinator tim sosialisasi Bawaslu memberikan materi tentang sejarah, visi, misi, dan tugas Bawaslu sebagai lembaga pengawas pemilu di Indonesia. Beliau menjelaskan bahwa Bawaslu bertanggung jawab untuk menjamin penyelenggaraan pemilu yang jujur, adil, transparan, dan demokratis. Beliau juga menguraikan beberapa jenis pelanggaran pemilu yang sering terjadi, seperti politik uang, kampanye hitam, intimidasi, dan pemalsuan suara. Beliau menekankan bahwa pelanggaran pemilu dapat merusak kualitas demokrasi dan mengancam kedaulatan rakyat.
Kemudian, tim sosialisasi Bawaslu memberikan materi tentang hak dan kewajiban pemilih dalam pemilu. Beliau mengatakan bahwa hak pemilih adalah hak konstitusional untuk memilih calon pemimpin sesuai dengan hati nurani dan kehendaknya tanpa tekanan atau paksaan dari pihak manapun. Beliau juga mengatakan bahwa kewajiban pemilih adalah kewajiban moral untuk menggunakan hak pilihnya secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab dengan memperhatikan visi, misi, program, dan rekam jejak calon pemimpin yang akan dipilih. Beliau mengimbau siswa untuk tidak golput atau tidak menggunakan hak pilihnya karena golput adalah bentuk ketidakpedulian terhadap nasib bangsa.
Terakhir anggota tim sosialisasi Bawaslu memberikan materi tentang cara dan prosedur memilih dalam pemilu. Beliau memperlihatkan contoh surat suara yang akan digunakan dalam pemilu 2024, yang mencakup pemilihan presiden dan wakil presiden, anggota DPR RI, anggota DPD RI, anggota DPRD provinsi, dan anggota DPRD kabupaten/kota. Beliau menjelaskan langkah-langkah memilih dengan benar, yaitu:
– Datang ke tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) sesuai dengan daftar pemilih tetap (DPT) yang telah ditetapkan oleh KPU.
– Menunjukkan kartu tanda penduduk (KTP) atau surat keterangan pindah memilih (form A5) kepada petugas KPPS di TPS.
– Menerima surat suara dari petugas KPPS dan masuk ke bilik suara.
– Memilih calon pemimpin dengan cara mencoblos atau menandai gambar atau nama calon pada surat suara.
– Melipat surat suara agar gambar atau nama calon tidak terlihat dan memasukkannya ke dalam kotak suara sesuai dengan warna surat suara.
– Menunjukkan jari telunjuk kepada petugas KPPS untuk dicelupkan ke dalam tinta sebagai tanda telah menggunakan hak pilih.
– Meninggalkan TPS dengan tertib dan menjaga kerahasiaan pilihan.
Setelah materi selesai disampaikan, acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab antara tim sosialisasi Bawaslu dan siswa. Siswa tampak antusias dan penasaran dengan berbagai hal terkait pemilu. Beberapa pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh siswa antara lain:
– Bagaimana cara melaporkan jika menemukan adanya pelanggaran pemilu?
– Apa sanksi hukum bagi pelaku pelanggaran pemilu?
– Bagaimana cara mengetahui hasil pemilu secara resmi dan akurat?
– Apa dampak positif dan negatif dari pemilu bagi pembangunan bangsa?
– Bagaimana cara mengajak teman-teman yang belum memiliki hak pilih untuk peduli dengan pemilu?
Tim sosialisasi Bawaslu menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut dengan jelas dan informatif. Mereka juga memberikan contoh-contoh kasus dan fakta yang relevan untuk memperkuat penjelasan mereka. Mereka juga memberikan apresiasi dan pujian kepada siswa yang bertanya dan berpendapat dengan sopan dan cerdas.
Kegiatan sosialisasi Bawaslu ini merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi politik dan demokrasi di kalangan generasi muda. Diharapkan, melalui kegiatan ini, siswa dapat lebih memahami dan menghargai proses pemilu sebagai sarana untuk menyalurkan aspirasi dan hak politiknya. Selain itu, siswa juga diharapkan dapat menjadi agen perubahan yang positif bagi bangsa dan negara di masa depan.
