Hari Sabtu, 16 September 2023, adalah hari yang bersejarah bagi SMAN 1 Ponggok. Kami ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan World Clean Up Day dengan membuat acara “Beach Clean Up Day: Bersih PantaiKu, Indah LautKu” dengan semangat dan komitmen untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, khususnya keindahan Pantai Midodaren yang tercinta. Kegiatan ini merupakan kolaborasi antara guru dan siswa yang akan membekas dalam ingatan kami selamanya.
Sejak awal, tujuan acara ini adalah dua kali lipat: pertama, untuk mengajarkan siswa kami tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan pantai dan dampak positif yang dapat dihasilkan dari tindakan kecil seperti mengumpulkan sampah. Kedua, untuk memperkuat ikatan di antara guru dan siswa melalui kegiatan outbond yang penuh semangat.
